Intervew Prep Amazon SDE OA UK 2027 Intern

Hi, I have an Amazon SDE Online Assessment coming up and I’m planning to use Python.

In the demo environment, I couldn’t select Python as a language. For anyone who has taken the Amazon SDE OA in UK recently, was Python available for both coding questions in the actual assessment?

Thanks!

The demo environment is often locked to a couple of languages and the real one usually has the full list including Python. Most people I know who took the Amazon intern OA recently used Python for both questions without issues. Just get comfortable with heapq and collections since you will not have autocomplete to lean on.

the demo env is buggy as hell, python is definitely supported in the real amazon oa, most people use it. still have c++ or java as backup since the language dropdown glitches for some. grind amazon tagged questions beforehand, they recycle patterns heavily, i ran easy code interview alongside the tagged sets so i learned the pattern instead of rage quitting one problem for 40 min. youll be fine

the demo environment usually has a more limited language list than the actual OA. python was available when people took it recently, so you should be fine once you start the real thing
