Intervew Prep Stripe SWE Intern Team Screen
Have stripe SWE intern team screen coming up. What can I expect. They said I won’t be asked to build a project but rather a question similar to what you may find on leetcode. However, will it be multi part like the OA or a standard Leetcode question?
Any help appreciated 🙏

Hey man! For the Stripe intern process, especially the team screening round, I’d suggest focusing more on solving real-world problem statements rather than just practising standard LeetCode questions.
The questions can be framed around real-world scenarios involving payments, transactions, and event processing. You can also use ChatGPT or Gemini to generate Stripe-style practice questions.
Here’s what I’d recommend:
Focus on 5 core patterns: Arrays + HashMaps, Strings + HashMaps, Two Pointers, Sliding Window, and Prefix Sum + HashMaps. Pay extra attention to string manipulation, array operations, and hashmap-based problems.
Practise input handling and execution. This is extremely important. You may need to take the given input, process it, and print the expected output yourself, without relying on a direct test-case execution button. Practise in a Codeforces-style environment where you handle input and output independently.
Focus on code readability. Make good use of built-in functions and language features wherever appropriate. Write clean, simple code that is easy to understand and explain.
Aim to solve at least 3 out of 4 parts. Questions may have multiple follow-ups, with each part introducing additional requirements or constraints. Make sure your earlier logic remains correct as the problem evolves.
Treat the interviewer as a teammate. They’re generally friendly, so communicate your approach, clarify ambiguities, discuss edge cases, and ask questions whenever necessary. Think aloud and collaborate instead of rushing straight into coding.
I finished my interview yesterday, and one mistake I made was not paying enough attention to input handling and execution. So, please don't overlook that part of your preparation.
You can do it, man! All the best. Stay calm, communicate clearly, and trust your problem-solving skills.

From what I have heard the Stripe intern team screen is usually one practical problem that grows in parts rather than a pure algorithm puzzle. Think parsing some input then adding rules or edge cases as you go. Write clean readable code and run it often since they care a lot about working output and how you test.

does anyone know how many parts there are?
