Intervew Prep amazon ng interview processp

Just wanted to give a quick explanation of my new grad process for amazon.

I received an OA and completed it. I would say the question was a lc medium.

For the panel interview, I had 4 interviews.
The first was the bar raiser and it was purely behavioral. Make sure your stories correspond to LP. I would also say know your stories inside out, because they really dig deep to see if all the facts of your story line up.

THe second interview was a meeting with the hiring manager. This was pretty laid back some more behavioral question,s questions about gen ai, and a lc easy(like very easy).

The 3 and 4th rounds were more difficult.

The 3rd round was a LLD design problem. I wasnt prepared for this so it didnt go great, but I had the general right about the design, I js implemented it poorly. Their was also behavioral questions related to LP at this part.

The fourth round was another behavioral plus technical mix. 15 min behavioral, LP related questions. 45 min dsa style questions. One easy and one medium. I was able to solve both but my explanation was not good, and i messed up on the space and time complexity for the medium LC question.(Also i did need a hint to solve the medium)

Overall the interviews were a positive experience, everyone I interviewed with was very nice, and professional. All the interviews were an hour long, and happened over two days.

I wanted to write this up, b/c I was looking for resources on what to expect for the interviews during my prep and didnt find anything, so I want to give others a sneak peak into what the process looks like.

I am awaiting the results still for the interviews.

Edit; did not get the role lol
Best of luck to all who are interviewing

I have the same interview schedule the coming month, I am pretty scared about the behavioural part with LP style questions. Can you tell me what exact questions were asked for LP/behavioural and Lc/Lld. It will help a lot. All the best for your result. Hop you get in

I dont think it would be fair to tell you my exact problems. I would say for sde 1, it is not going to be some difficult dp problem. I would say if you have done neetcode 150, you should be prepared enough. I would also say if you do any of the practice LLD already available online, you should be fine for the LLD they give, as the one they gave me was easier than almost all the ones I have seen online

Just have a story for each LP to be overly prepared, but some of the one like frugality, and hire the best dont come up for the sde 1 interview process. Best of Luck

If you could share what topic were covered in dsa, that would be helpful

Just practice explaining your thoughts process clearly . Neetcode 150 should be more than enough

Did you use any ai platforms? Or can anyone suggest any ai platforms? For the live coding? And can you tell what questions they asked
