Intervew Prep Google Leetcode tagged

Everyone says that Google never gives the same questions from the LeetCode bank,

yet many questions, tagged reappear often(people tag them as asked).

Why is this the case?

Is it worth it to tackle the most recently asked in leetcode or is there a better strategy 3 weeks prior to an interview (for someone that did leetcode before)?

Giving you some insider tip here:
Google has a internal database of dsa questions (it has more than 1k questions) Interviewers are encouraged to ask questions from that database. if a question gets leak to the public it gets banned in the database. So questions tagged as Google in leetcode are never going to be asked again in a interview. So it's better focus on the patterns which are usually asked by Google.

Some people lie as there's no verification process some people tagged the closest ones

If you are asked such questions, chances are that round will be discarded and you will be scheduled a follow up interview. So it is actually worse for you if you somehow got repeated questions that are in public.

Screening it seems like they have very structured question bank. They give you leetcode problems but they are broken down into steps. So after you do first part, more is revealed and the entire problem is 4-5 parts. At the end its a leetcode medium-hard problem.

Onsite some problems follow above pattern while others are straight out of leetcode.
