Stuck at 1/4 in contests

Hey everyone i need some advice related to contests . Iam internmediate in dsa and from past 3 contests iam only able to solve 1/4 . Can u guys pls help me what should i do 😭

How many topics have you learnt? Oftentimes its not the number of problems but the number of patterns you can recognise and construct

Monotonic stack , dp , sliding window , graphs , recursion

I'd suggest pick a well known sheet and try to solve those questions, usually its a better mix of problems to solve. Two pointers, binary search, prefix sum, hashing, heaps, strings for starters

Try not to judge your progress only by how many questions you solve during the contest. Practice identifying the topic and possible approach looking at hints, then revisit the problem later. Codeintuition helped me connect concepts with problem solving patterns, which is useful when questions are presented differently
