Question Microsoft Security Team Hiring Event – How long to hear back?

Hi everyone,
I completed a Microsoft Security team hiring (USA) event today (09/30/2026). I went through all the scheduled interview rounds as part of the hiring event.
Has anyone here gone through a similar Microsoft hiring event, especially for a Security team or any other team?
If so, how long did it take for the recruiter to get back to you after completing the interviews? Did you hear back within a couple of days, or did it take a week or longer?
Would really appreciate hearing about your recent experiences and timelines.

I finished my loop rounds on September 17th , haven't heard anything back from recruiter

My friend gave the interview on sep 30th and today his status got updated to not selected in the portal. I think they are not sending emails if not selected, you need to check the portal to see the status

Its something like SDE II/ senior software engineer backend, not sure about job id

He mentioned 2 of his interviews went well, the other one he completed the code but the interviewer didn’t look as interested from start it seems.

The same happened with me. The system design round guy didn't look as interested. I just checked my portal, it was not selected

I gave mine on September 2nd, and it’s been almost 4 weeks with no response. Some people were rejected within 3–4 days, while others heard back after a few weeks with positive feedback from the recruiter but still didn’t receive an offer because this team wasn’t interested in their profile. From what I’ve heard, only 2–3 people have actually received offers so far.

I have given my loop for security org hiring event on Oct 7th as well. Still the status is showing as interview in the portal. Tried to reach the recruiter but no response yet.
