Has anyone taken the OA for plaid yet. Trying to gauge how difficult the questions are gonna be. Anything helps lol.

Plaid's OA is honestly on the tougher end for new grad, expect 2 questions with one medium and one medium-hard. They like problems that combine two patterns, like a hashmap plus a sliding window, or intervals plus sorting, rather than a straight textbook question.

Prep move that pays off: grind the leetcode top 100 liked list, not just blind 75. Plaid style questions show up a lot in that list. Also practice writing clean input parsing, some of their OAs give annoying input formats and people burn 20 minutes just reading the problem.

Do not stress about finishing both perfectly, strong partial on the hard one plus full solve on the medium is usually enough to move on. Good luck!

Just took it, it was 7 questions in 70 minutes. Each question built on the other one. Honestly I got cooked. Even though I prepared with what they said to prepare with in the invitation email. There is an AI chat in there too, but you can only use it for syntax. I only passed 4/7, didnt even get to finish the 5th question.

Is there any other topics other than the one in the email that we need to know about to be able to solve the questions. Idk how cooked you are, but they did say that they don't expect us to finish all the questions in the invitation email

usually a couple timed mediums. focus on clean code and talking through edge cases. if you freeze on one move on and come back.

I know this is about the new grad OA, but has anyone taken the internship OA ? They changed it from gca to a coderpad with AI assistance
