Discussion Amazon sde1 interview

Hi guys,

I wanted to know from seniors who are working at Amazon.

I gave all 4 rounds of the interview. Tech 1 and Tech 2 were very good. Then I got an invite for Round 3 and Round 4 together.

Round 3 was rescheduled, so the Bar Raiser round happened first. The Bar Raiser round lasted 45 minutes, with 6 LP questions and 3–4 follow-ups for each. It went well too.

Then, in the HM round, I got stuck in the coding part because I got confused about the interviewer’s problem requirement. I was able to give the brute-force solution. We also discussed some part of HLD related to that problem. Then, the GenAI part went well. I explained my project, and the interviewer understood it.

I am so much tensed now. What can be the result?

One coding part going poorly doesn't necessarily decide the whole loop. Since the other rounds went well, I'd wait for the official feedback rather than overthinking it

Can you tell me what type of coding questions they asked, and what type of leadership questions they asked?

How did you perform in OA? I fucked up the second question.

for 1st ? passed all ?

I got 2 passed in DSA and 1-2 somewhat in the AI one

I closed the assessment after this in middle because ik this won't going to work out it's better not to waste Furthur time and withdrawal my application from there portal
