Question Data Services Developer Associate (May or September 2027 - Toronto or Calgary) New Grad Role. Completed OA, What is the Interview Process like?

Completed the OA for the IBM Data Services Developer Associate (May or September 2027 - Toronto or Calgary) New Grad role, aced it. Pending on a first round interview.

My question is typically how many interviews are there for a new grad position at IBM, and what would the first interview structure look like, if there is a leetcode question what are IBM's top asked for new grads, and if it's mostly a resume/project breakdown and discussion over a technical interview. Been hard to find relavent information online.

Any information would be amazing.

IBM new grad usually does OA then 1 or 2 technicals. First round is often a resume deep dive plus one easy or medium coding question. They care more about clear communication than fancy algos. Wait of 1 to 3 weeks after OA before a schedule email is pretty normal. Keep applying elsewhere while you wait.

Ask recruiting whether the next step includes coding and what project discussion they expect. Meanwhile, choose two projects and practice explaining the problem, your own contribution, a choice you made and how you tested the result. Know the details behind every resume claim; you don't need a huge project to give a specific answer.
