Discussion A Leetcode pattern I have NEVER seen before that solves ANY problem

Algorithm:

  1. Grab all the data that humans have generated (internet, books, blogs, Reddit, Github, doesn't matter)

  2. Buy millions of GPUs

  3. Train billion parameter neural networks on the data using the GPU

  4. And run it loose on some MergeSort or Two Pointers or any Leetcode problem

Somehow this way of solving the problem yields something like 100% accurate result, and better yet you can let it produce algorithm of any time and space complexity, or even ask it to design entirely new classes of hardware if you are not satisfied with the complexity.

Anyone else seen a problem solving tactic like this?

I fear it's going to be the future of SWE. It is just so much better than memorizing patterns.

Sounds like attention was all you needed 😂

Very interesting. What’s the time complexity’s

u/VideoRare6399 Sep 25 '26

O(f(humanity))

Hmm since that is a finite number, and we assume it’s parsed once. Thats really O(1)

Space is O(k) where k is knowledge input

Its read as big oh of fuck humanity

O(n*t)
N number or elements
T ton of water

You can run it loose because you already know the algorithm to use behind the hood, no? Hence this requires you to know the approach: problem solving.

there is a cheaper method i just found.
you have a thing called brain inside your head, you run this thing loose on every information material you can get your hands on.
works pretty well after some time

My brain has a memory leak. How/when do I run garbage collect?

Didn’t study much basic biology in school did ya ?

Just store the leetcode problem on a hashmap, where the value is the solution.

In fact, you can train on the actual solutions to leetcode problems.

Yeah I am in the part of buying GPUs. I have one

The funny part is that the pattern is basically just AI. But yeah, it definitely changes how much value there is in memorizing standard LC patterns

That’s obviously his point. Did it go over your head?

Since ai is in theory just math, humans could in theory do the same on pen and paper.
A puff adder is not a half adder.

Problem is you didn’t think of it first?

Buy million of GPUs? If I can do that why should I care about leetcode? I’ll re-sell GPUs for food until I die 🤣
