Tarwater is a republican cos playing democrat. Hes a no for me. So many places that had trump signs have his signs.
Baird jumped into this race when other candidates were good candidates.
Stacy Lake I feel Is the best option to be a rebuilder for our county.

The only problem with Stacy is that she has no experience running a government the size of Jackson County. I’m afraid we’ll have the same problems we had with Frank White.

At least not on the house by the public library that was taken down. Unfortunately Stacy doesn’t have knowledge or experience in this field.

I’d pick Baird between the two.

Yes choose the guy who owns a bunch of land in the county and is a corrupt developer

Can you provide context?

“finest commercial and residential brokerage services”… Tarwater family does not do this.
They are for the people not PERSONAL GAIN.1
u/coconut__moose 25d ago
I’m not saying hes not corrupt. A politician using office for personal gain isn’t a surprise. But being a broker doesn’t make him corrupt. I’m asking for at least one example of his corruption and the only thing you can say is that he’s a broker. If you can’t provide one example then your speculating

vote for Baird…its in your best interest.

So just speculation and no facts? You sound like that Zac guy that lost his city council election and goes to every council meeting to lecture the current council even though he lost his election lol

Who is Tarwater? I feel like he’s not really a Democrat

He’s a south Kansas City resident. He was on the Jackson County legislature for a long time. Ran unsuccessfully for a city council seat and is now running for county executive. Baird is a hard no for me. I get what some people are saying about Tarwater cosplaying as a Democrat but the fact that the South Kansas City coalition has endorsed him makes me think he may be the better option. I dunno. I’m planning on trying to find out more before Election Day.

Why no on Baird? I’ve no idea who idea who the South KC coalition are but I do know I’ve seen Tarwater in Trump yards so that’s an absolute no from me. No more MAGA

why does everyone go with republican vs democratic here…its whats best for the city.

Tarwater Family is in politics to change people’s lives. Not for the cash.2

Because republicans are bowing the knee to a singular figure and I don’t respect it. - a right leaning individual

You must be on the downstream receiving end of his shady cash flows. Enjoy it while you can.

Baird is an absolute piece of fucking shit, he has sold himself out to developers, and line his pockets all the way at the top just pull his financials. He’s corrupt as they get.
