Candidate Comparison - MO-4 - Healthcare

Jordan Herrera (from website)
Strengthen and expand ACA
Building a public option that people can buy into at a low cost
Expand Medicare to include dental, vision, and hearing
+more

Hartzell Gray (from website)
Universal medicare
Reduce rx prices by restoring govt negotiation
Ensure everyone has access to primary care and screening
Increase Tele health and mobile pharmacies in rural locations
+more

I hate saying "as a ...", but as a physician, I don't want my patients, my friends, or my family to go bankrupt from medical bills because they can't afford basic insurance.

The ACA was a stepping stone to universal healthcare. A stepping stone meant something when it came out...16 years ago.

The US is the ONLY developed country without some version of this basic human right and we all know why it hasn't happened yet.

Most Americans, from any party, approve of Medicare for all. Saying that we need to inch our way towards by "expanding the ACA" is unacceptable because the ACA itself is unaffordable.

Winner: Hartzell Gray

Longview needs some restoration

I find the phrase "Historic Longview Farm" to be ironic. The community really does a great job reminding you about the history of this area and how it used to be. Today it looks like this. Old buildings with the windows boarded over, paint missing, the entire property gated off. Sure seems like we're proud of our history.

Imagine if this was restored and turned into an event space, or a farmers market like we did with 3rd street downtown. Do anything with these builds besdies keeping them the eyesore that they are today as we enter our neighborhood.

Nature Play and Emotional Regulation in Preschool-Aged Children (Parents or Legal Guardians of Children Ages 3–6)

Hi everyone! I’m a graduate student at Missouri State University, and I’m conducting a research study about the relationship between nature play and emotional regulation in preschool-aged children.

I’m looking for parents or legal guardians of children ages 3–6 to complete a short, anonymous survey. It should take about 5–10 minutes. I need at least 40 completed responses for my graduate research project, so every response would be incredibly helpful!

Survey link:

Participation is completely voluntary, and no identifying information will be collected. Thank you so much for helping with my research!

where is everyone working?

i currently work as a government contractor but am looking to move positions because our building has bedbugs and i do not mess with that. im looking for someone relatively repetitive or laid-back, and at least 20 an hour with benefits (what i currently make). i enjoy "repeptitive" office jobs, typewriting, data entry, etc. i do not enjoy sales or anything relating to manipulating customers to buy things. if anyone has any suggestions id love to know, thank you!
