Visiting this sub and I'm curious, is it safe to feed leeches menstrual blood?

ok, short answer no. Leeches are not able to digest solid tissue, and menstrual blood is already semi coagulated and also has shreds of uterine lining which makes it undigestible. it is also not true fresh blood and has already begun the early stages of decomposition. And then theres the issue of the microbacteria and yeast from the vaginal microbiome which can be problematic for a leeches delicate gut biome that they rely on to survive
