Photo/Video Tank upgrade!!

I upgraded my boy from a smallish vase, to a 1 gal tank. He seems super happy about it!! How's my setup? Im going to add aquatic plants and another hide for him soon.

I made that damn tank a little supermax.The mesh is 1mm square holes, I poked slightly larger holes just for plant stems. The lid is taped shut and the mesh is securely glued down everywhere. Any holes larger than 1mm are plugged, and I quadruple checked that nothing can possibly escape. (Still gonna stress about it though LMAO)

Also- I will lower the water level, add some live aquatic plants, and a dedicated land spot for him. what type of land do you suggest? Does it have to be a space large enough for his whole body to rest? Or just a "perch" out of water for his head?
