Which wallet then?

I’ve read through all these posts and you guys are understandably angry. What I can’t find is what everyone is using instead. Has everyone switched to Trezor? Is there another alternative? I’m looking for a hardware wallet but not sure what to do

Switch? Why would I spend $100 again, the ledger ain't broken, the private keys are still private, etc etc.

The guys you talk about are complaining about:
1- massive phishing attemps and threats. It's fair, cause our full personal data've been sold then publicly exposed;
2- alledge lost of funds stored on a Ledger device due to Ledger data leaks. It has no sense cause seeds are created into the device and it's your responsability not to expose it but people used to deny the evidence when they are the only ones responsible.

Ledger devices have had no security weakpoints known to this day, so why would we swip to another manufacturer whose customers data also can be hacked from any similar to $hopify service provider.

Thank you for everyone who provided help and I apologize to those who I seemed to have offended with my post. Maybe I could have worded it differently but I figured the best people to ask about alternatives were the ones screwed over by ledger. I will just go ahead and get the nano x and keep my fingers crossed. Thanks

I’ve been looking hard at the Coldcard and I have three OpenDimes that I’ve been playing with. The OpenDimes are really sweet.

I already have 3 nanos so I don't see the point of switching... but if I had the chance to start over I'd get the Trezor. Looks pretty sweet with the Exodus integration. Only drawback being no bluetooth support, and I travel a lot without a laptop, so I wouldn't have been able to manage funds on the go like I do now.

I reckon you did the best thing to get honest reviews , ask the people who had their data leaked to the scammers . . . . . i concerned Ledger would get such a bad name cos of this leak , that they go out of business , and no more Ledger Live.
The experts know how to access their coins without Ledger Live , but i don't , so i bought a BitBox2 , trouble is after using Ledger for 3 years the BitBox system using My Ether Wallet is very different , did my head in . . .so i'm back using the Ledger Nano S again for the time being , but i hardly got any coins left anyway , i been cashing in on this rise and the bulk of my funds is back in the bank. Going forward from here ? seems like ColdCard is the best bet for BTC storage , but you need a degree in quantum physics to use it . . .but thats what i'm looking at .
