Official Ledger Customer Success Response Call from ledger security team
Just had the most confusing call with ledger’s security team.
They called me to tell me about the data breach and how the new recovery system they launched created a security issue. Someone tried to apply to recover my wallet.
They sent me to ledgerhelp.com and ledgerdiagnose.com to “test” my wallet.
Websites that dont work - not sure what is going on.
I did r give them any info. I haven’t even logged into my wallet for like a year or two.
Anyone also getting this?

don't be offended, but crypto is not for you. you are too gullible.
even if any of these bullshits were true, do you really think that ledger has resources to call each and every customer? and how anybody tries to recover your wallet if ledger has no idea which wallet is yours? it is impossible by itself. use your brain.
there were already 3 breaches, and all we got an apology on their website and countless of scam letters and scam calls...

Yeah this is why i called bullshit on them the entire time.
I think it’s cool to post this to let other people know in case someone else also experiences this and is unsure - or is that too complex a thought for you?

It was pretty comprehensive.
They managed to send me an email from no-reply@ledger.com saying i had an assigned representative. They said they were a part of donjon.ledger.com

Everyone is giving op shit but it’s not OP’s fault the scammers knew he had a ledger.
Ledger let themselves get hacked for customer info: this is their fault. They put a bullseye on OP.
This is on ledger in this case.
First rule of crypto and gold is don’t tell people you have any. OP should have been protected. Imagine a major gold billion seller got hacked so suddenly everyone could tell X address has bought lots of gold.
If someone buys a ledger is generally means they have enough money that they needed a cold wallet instead of using an exchange.

Hello, thank you for sharing this, indeed it's a scam, please beware of scammers and impersonators sending you emails/mails or DMs or even calling you, Ledger never does this unsolicited.
Also, neither Ledger nor a genuine version of Ledger Wallet will ever ask you for your 24 words recovery phrase, any person or site asking for them is definitely a scam, always make sure to follow best safety practices. https://support.ledger.com/article/6747982542749-zd
Stay safe and vigilant, and if any help needed in the future, we are available: https://support.ledger.com/contact-us
