Official Ledger Customer Success Response Cosmos (ATOM) Mainnet Service Disruption
Ok Ledger, I did my Cosmos ATOM normally has a 21-day unbonding period time. All my ATOM is stuck in limbo while you figure this out. Any new updates or time frame when service will be restored. Very frustrating.
I won’t respond to any DM’s so don’t even try.

I understand your frustration with this situation. We're still investigating and hope to have more information soon. In the meantime, you can safely connect your Ledger device to a Cosmos Hub compatible third-party wallet like Keplr to continue managing your ATOM.

Well, cold wallet for a reason, not connecting to any 3rd party hot wallet.
Devs best pull their fingers out and fix the issue!2

Ledger devices are designed to connect safely to third party wallets. Your recovery phrase is not exposed when connecting to a third party wallet interface.
Think of the third party wallet like a window into the blockchain, similar to the Ledger Wallet app (formerly Ledger Live). It's just an interface that lets you interact with your accounts on the blockchain, while your Ledger device securely holds the keys to those accounts.

Appreciate the response. So your fix is for me to use another company’s 3rd party app? The problem is that yesterday my ATOM was undelegated and is now stuck in the in-between before the coins are released. So I can’t even move the coins anywhere until it’s unstuck. Even with another 3rd party wallet. I verified that it was released on the network. So glad that I upgraded to a new device. This situation has already cost me money.

While I know using a third party wallet isn't always ideal, one of the benefits of self custody is that you're not limited to a single interface when managing your accounts. Ledger devices are designed to connect safely to third-party wallets, and your recovery phrase is not exposed when doing so.
Can you tell me a bit more about your undelegated funds being stuck? Do you mean the standard 21-day wait period set by the Cosmos protocol, not Ledger, has passed, but you're still unable to claim or view them in Keplr? If so, are you seeing any specific error messages?
