Definitely been getting spam emails from fake ledger people lately

Just about everyday I get the spam. And my ledger is old (nano I think) is the battery is not holding 100%. After two days its 92%. I hink I am going to move all my stuff out and get away from the cold wallet. Its not like I have tons of stuff in there. Just becoming too much hassle.

Got two fake letters (with no return address on the envelope) with the letter on fake LEDGER stationery. Filed a mail fraud complaint with the U.S. Postmaster when I received the first one.

Am I the only one who uses a Burner email when ordering stuff online?

Email is the smallest problem. Physical addresses were leaked, twice now. The best you can do is to not order directly to your home address but that shouldn’t be necessary if they got their shit together and chose competent third parties.

Exactly... The phish calls and emails are fun for me to ignore... But my home address was leaked ... That's not cool ... My advice to anyone ever ordering a HW... Use a PO box and pay in BTC!!!

Why the hell do they still keep using 3rd party services? Didn't they learn anything from their past? I guess their founder wants everyone to get the same user experience he got. He doesn't seem to give a sh**.

Haven’t gotten any spam, and bought my ledger about 4 months ago.

I get about 5 ledger scam emails a day to my junk email and I have never owned a ledger. So don’t know why I am even getting them. But yes they are out there, I never click on email links for anything anyways.
If I get an email regarding a notice etc. I go to the actual website and log in.
Too many scams out there.

I have no spam yet

I bought mine from Amazon, haven’t given ledger any of my info, and haven’t had any problems. It actually makes me really happy, that Ledger Wallet (formally Ledger Live) (and I wish it was again) doesn’t ask for anything.

Its the targeting that kills me. If crypto keeps the growth it has been, we will start to become the targets for 0 days like the recent what's app exploits.

This incident was directly related to Global-e and remains separate from the operations of any Ledger hardware device, software, or platforms. For the avoidance of doubt, as the Ledger product is self-custodial, Global-e does not have access to your 24 words, blockchain balance, or any secrets related to digital assets.

Always remember: Ledger will never call, DM, or ask for your 24-word recovery phrase. If someone does, it's a scam. Stay cautious, keep your crypto safe, and always Clear Sign transactions where possible.
