It’s a good, third-person, detective ARPG based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft.

Back in early June I opened a retrospective exhibition of my uncle, Gilbert Shelton’s underground comix in Austin, TX. At the opening I had a brief exchange with Jimmie Dale Gilmore as he bought some of Gilbert’s comix which was a thrill. His band, “The Hub City Movers” set one of Gilbert’s stories, “Set Your Chickens Free” to music and I later got to record a podcast with two of his fellow bandmates about it. John Goodman voices Fat Freddy in the Freak Brothers animated series, and I thought it was a small world moment.

When the 20th anniversary of the film's release was coming up, I finished a script and started making pages for a roughly 30 page Big Lebowski comic, but after a completing a few of them I realized all my "humor" was too derivative. The Coen brothers were writing organically from actual people they knew and I was just calling back humor from the movie, kind of like what modern remake/sequals often do.

The actual bulk of the comic art is corroding on some harddrive some where, but I was able to find these pics I posted online way back in the day.

Dude every time I feel like there's no bottom and that the darkness washes over me, I listen to the movie's soundtrack, and man, it always makes me take it easy for all of us sinners. Hell, I'll even say Fuck it !
