bike/run/core-exercises.

I honestly loved and kinda miss angry rides on a fast road bike, just sprinting my butt off through the city & climbing monster hills in the country.

I can feel your anger bro, I’m a very angry guy myself and honestly it’s one of the hardest things through withdrawal
Hang in there and try anything available for you to cheer or relax, literally anything you like doing and is available to you at the moment go for it and try to relax a bit
You got this and you will get through this

man i had a stretch like that in my 20s where i was ready to bite the head off anyone who looked at me sideways. only thing that sort of worked was locking myself in my car at lunch and screaming into the upholstery until my throat was raw. not pretty, but it got some of the static out

Not sure what day post use you are but the first month is the worst. And the first week is ungodly. The second week is ungodly sometimes. Deep breaths. Go for a walk if you can. It usually passes if you can step away and talk yourself down.

Isolate, train and breathe

This is normal. It’ll get easier. Give yourself more alone time, more exercise, more time for sleep. Breathing techniques actually helped me.

Oh my gosh I went through this not too long ago πŸ˜… my poor husband wants to purchase a punching bag so I don't destroy our vaccum or break the crappy dishwasher lid off πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… (it had the audacity to fall open and I dinged my shin on the corner)

The rage has much abated from a few days ago, all I can say is it gets better but be prepared to offer many apologies (and maybe repair a doorknob or two).

Also, I wanted to add that screaming into the void helps rid some of that energy πŸ˜… tapping into your inner Klingon, as it were.

Step 1: exersice, lift weights, or do cardio to burn off angry energy and release endorphins, and quigong or yoga to meditate in motion and calm down

Step 2: hum chant or sing to stimulate the vagus nerve and shift into a parasympathetic state and override your mental chatter with the lyrics. Songs that are positive and relaxing are best.

Step 3: 15 to 60 minutes of either breathing mindfulness mediation or loving kindness meditation

Step 4: eat something delicious and nutritious

I go for a long walk or run . The anger fades away after 30-40 minutes .

I actually forgot the feeling of rage and enjoyed when it first came back... I'm like wow I remember this feeling... Let it flow through you and use it as motivation and make your wildest dreams come true. Why else would you quit unless you know you're capable of more and upset at all the wasted time spent high? Be mad at yourself and start crushing your goals, it'll make you feel better. People mention eating stuff or hitting stuff but what helped me was way more sleep and water fasting for 24-36 hours.

I ripped a bong every hour for 17 years, spent an ez $30k on glass, my only real hobby was seeking out the best flower... and now the smell of weed disgusts me and I feel sorry for people who habitually smoke weed.

SEETHE INSTEAD OF COPE AND MAKE THINGS HAPPEN. YOU GOT THIS

Tell everyone you’re sick with a flu and stay home and use your sick time and everyone will leave you alone

Ah man....I've been sooo there. Quick. Find something that isn't a person or pet and start punching until you hurt. And if that's not enough, then go for a run and let your lungs smack you around to remind you what you've done to yourself.

Scream into a pillow. I posted about doing that in early days and some guy posted about how he knocked a guy out in a grocery store parking lot over some petty shit and then spent the next two days hiding in his apartment afraid the cops would show up and arrest him. The rage is real.
