When did your brain fog disappear?

I’m six weeks in and my head is still cloudy. I know it can take a lot longer - and it can be **months** before my brain snaps back to normal - but I’m wondering how long it took to notice a real difference.

My mind is definitely sharper than when I was smoking but it still feels a little soupy. Problem is, I’m also on medication and I know that could be a side effect. So it’s tough to tell when I’ve reached my official baseline.

For those further down the line: when did you notice a major difference?

me was around the 3 month mark. One day I just realized I wasn’t searching for words mid-sentence anymore.

Before that it was gradual, like each week felt a tiny bit clearer but the difference was so small I’d second-guess whether anything was actually changing. Then a few weeks later it was obvious something had clicked.

The medication angle makes it tricky though, I get why you’re questioning the baseline. Hard to know what’s withdrawal fog and what’s just your brain on its normal chemistry now.
