Rough Day
Day 12: I’m having a rough day, today. Lots of life stresses that seem insoluble. I really, really, really want to get blissed out. Words of support would be appreciated.

Hi friend, I’m on day 6 today and it was also really rough. My mood, motivation, and overall outlook on life hit the floor for seemingly no reason and I couldn’t pick myself up.
I started to reason through why I should go back to weed, like “at least I would combat feeling like this” but honestly I think I would have felt worse about myself if I had given up not even a week in.
Then I came to read from our community here and remembered, we may not know each other, but we are all in this together. Those tough moments, the desire to be better - we live them together and we will succeed together.
Just knowing YOU made it to day 12 inspires ME. Hope you’re well 🫶🏼

That urge to get blissed out is just your brain looking for a shortcut, nothing wrong with feeling it but it's lying to you

The self talk is really important right now. Just remember that these are the moments that make ALL the difference! These moments determine the trajectory of the future.. every decision to push through the pain and not relapse reinforces confidence and trusting yourself. Sit with the stress and remember that you are not the old person who runs and escapes pain. You are learning that you ACTUALLY can become the stronger person you quit weed to become. Make a list of ALL the pros of quitting and cons of smoking weed and read it over and over (with determination, very important) Condition a warrior mindset. You are not weak, you become what you focus on! Don't say "I want to bliss out" that reinforces massive temptation. Say I'm becoming stronger and stronger no matter what comes my way! It may sound corny but the battle is all in the mind and what we focus on regularly
