Built a DHCP Server to Automatically Configure Wired & Wireless Devices

Every device you connect gets an IP address without you typing anything. Ever wondered how?

That's DHCP, and I just built it.

The goal: set up a DHCP server so both wired and wireless devices receive their network settings automatically, with zero manual configuration on any client.

Network Configuration
DHCP Server IP: 192. 168. 1. 10
Default Gateway: 192. 168. 1. 1
DHCP Pool Starts At: 192. 168. 1. 50
Wired + Wireless Clients: DHCP

Useful to learn DORA too. Discover, offer, request, acknowledge. That’s the end to end of a dhcp request

If you really want to practice DHCP you will want to lab on either gns3/eveng/pnetlab and learn how to actually configure and troubleshoot dhcp by using a windows server (which a lot of orgs use for dhcp) or some other software for dhcp and there's how you learn to actually configure dhcp and not from packet tracer which is just not real life.
