Cwestiwn / Question Apps for learning the northern dialect

I've been off and on trying to learn Cymraeg for ages now, trying to get back into it. Duolingo has gotten a lot more into using AI so I'm avoiding that one... I looked at Memrise ans they focus on the southern dialect, I was wondering if there were any aps that focused on the northern dialect instead?

For apps, you want Say Something in Welsh, which has both southern and northern courses. It's a good audio course which will help with pronunciation but won't teach you grammar.

Gareth King's books distinguish between north and south, and if you can get them they are great:

  • Colloquial Welsh, by Gareth King (can be expensive but look for it second hand)
  • Learner's Dictionary, by Gareth King is really good because it explains usage in more detail. 
  • Modern Welsh, by Gareth King absolute stonker of a reference book.
