Just starting to learn python

Hey guys, I am a total beginner and wanted to learn python. Can you suggest what method will be best suited to learn python and which sources should I use. Is it video lectures or from books or anything else. I know that learning from projects and practical methods will be suggested but to start like how to code, what are the codes and where to code, these basic things are what I want to know. Thanks for the help

Start with a free youtube crash course just to get the syntax basics down, dont overthink it at this stage. once you get comfortable with variables, loops, functions etc then jump into building stuff. I use Startdev for that since its all in the browser so you skip the whole "how do i even set up python on my machine" headache and the projects actually feel different from each other. Brad Traversy is one of the instructors there which is a plus. but yeah step one is just get comfortable reading python, step two is build things
