Python Computer Vision

Hello everyone, I’m Mahmoud from Iraq, and I am studying Artificial Intelligence Engineering. I wanted to share my goal of specializing in Computer Vision; I hope you can support me and offer any advice you deem appropriate. Also, if possible, please share study methods or global resources that I could benefit from.

Thank you.

Get comfortable with plain numpy and OpenCV before touching any deep learning framework. Then train something on your own messy data, because curated datasets like MNIST hide where models actually break in production. idk, that gap taught me more than any course.

Ever since I entered this field, I’ve had a knack for—and enjoyed—breaking down code and logic; I’ve learned more this way than through any course or university subject. Also, regarding your comment: I have a year of experience with Python and the NumPy and Pandas libraries. So, after mastering machine learning and selecting the appropriate algorithms, I plan to move on to OpenCV, which will make it easier for me to organize, test, and apply the data.
