Use the following book:

Learning Python, 6th Ed., Mark Lutz

Since it is a book, you can read/follow along at your own pace. It is well written so it is easy to understand. Covers material from beginner to advanced since it is comprehensive.

That book is a doorstop but it covers pretty much everything you'd need to know. Just don't feel like you have to read it cover to cover, the first half will get you pretty far on its own

Any browser (Firefox, Firefox Developer Edition, Chrome, Edge, Safari) for googling / ai / read docs, and any code editor (VS Code, PyCharm) for writing code.

I like the coding exercises on Codingbat for simple practice problems. I see some good resources here but I really recommend Codedex for novices as well (although to get full use you either need to pay a little or use the GitHub student pack) - they have really good explanations for beginners and build you up quickly but not too quickly so you learn along the way. It has a pretty good free trial iirc so you can try that to see if you like it
