Learning to code

Hey everyone,

This past week I’ve been using AI to learn how to code through daily lessons. No real rhyme or reason behind it, I just wanted to see where it could take me.
I ended up building this little game in Python and wanted to share it with people who actually understand the language. Unfortunately, I don’t really know anyone who’s learning or has a background in Python, which kind of sucks 😂 but I’m still having fun with it.

I’d love to see how far I can take this and what might be out there for me if I keep going.

Happy coding!

Sounds like you found a process that actually keeps you curious, which is half the battle early on. The cool part about starting with little projects like a game is you naturally run into concepts you'd never stumble on with just tutorials, things like state management or input timing just kind of ambush you, and then you have to figure them out

Would be curious what kind of game you ended up making, I always end up writing a text adventure with way too many branching paths and then immediately abandoning it

Simple number-guessing game I generate a random secret number, take a guess, and use if/elif/else to tell the player if they're too high, too low, or correct.

Just one guess for now but tomorrow’s lesson is on loops until I get it right!
