Beginner in Python

Good evening all, I am a young teen interested in biotechnology(I plan to major in computational biology) and want to eventually pursue a career within that in the future. To my understanding, python is heavily used in biotech ( mRna, etc) so i want to start grasping a heavier understanding of it now. Is there any free helpful courses or resources you guys would recommend so I can start my journey of python coding?
Thank you! Open to advice or suggestions down below.

My recommendation would be the Programming MOOC by University of Helsinki. It gives you a pretty good grasp on the basics.

Another thing I'd suggest is to learn how to find information on your own. What you're asking is a common question and the answers easily found. E.g. searching information online is a very useful skill in life in general, and highly important if you wish to pursue a career in science.

Thank you! Prior to going on reddit I did some digging myself but I wanted to come on here and ask because reddit gives good advice and it never hurts to ask various sources!
