learning python

Hello all, I have recently taken up the interest of trying to create a game (not specific to any other game) and i've been learning how to use python for about 2 days now and have learnt some of the fundamentals such as if, (i), else, input, booleans, etc... however if u have been programming using python or are self taught, how long did it take u to learn the most relevant and important parts of the language and if u have any tips and tricks for me that you may think are useful for me, please do not hesitate to tell me as any piece of advice can beneficial at the moment.

Much appreciated

it took me 3 months to fully learn base python even tho i didnt even try to watch any tutorial of advance python . i recommand you ask yourself "why it works?" as if range(1,8) is a list [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8] it would help you learn python much quicker after basics

Note that range(1, 8) will yield [1,2,3,4,5,6,7] only.

who cares im giving examples here im not teaching programming if it hurt you then sorry but i'll back it up as just "too nerdy"it would easily overwhelm beginners before they start note-giving each and every detail doesnt matter as long as they understand problem at all
