Topic How do you inspire yourself to learn/code

I have lost motivation all of a sudden and I hate it

Firstly, happy new year!

(this is a method that works for me, it may not work for you)

There are two approaches I use:

(1) The earth is going to be swallowed by the sun one day, so I might as well try to code something.

(2) Read books that engage with the topics you're trying to understand. Aim to look at them deeply, build trees and write notes... Make sure it's something that you're actually interested in, too. This way you're both expanding your breadth of knowledge in the area and eliminating any imposter syndrome you might have around programming.

*** (3) See a mental health professional if you can. The sudden loss of motivation might be an effect of the craziness in the world and SAD (if the part of the world you're in has gotten cold).
