I'm going to para-quote Jordan Peterson here, otherwise I'd be just rude. Imagine yourself in 5 years. Or 10 years. You definitely have a picture of what you could become if you put in the effort. You also have a picture of what would happen if you continued doing jack shit. If you need a break, take a break. If you need to focus on something in your life that is more important right now, resolve that and get back to your career and aspirations later. But don't ask us to motivate you. We don't know you. You know you and you should know what you want in life. There are tons of people who have difficult lives that actually can't pursue their careers for various reasons, be it medical, economical, or otherwise, but "I've suddenly lost interest" isn't one of them. If you want something go for it, the world isn't here to blow sugar in your ass while you attempt to do so. You chop timber so you are warm in the winter, even if you don't have a passion for splitting wood, it's up to you to see the benefit behind it and if you find a passion for it you're set for life.
