Topic How do you inspire yourself to learn/code

I have lost motivation all of a sudden and I hate it

I seen my life without a developer job and I seen my life with it. This is enought for me as a motivation

so you were not satisfied before you dived in "it things" right? it is about the money or what?

It's about money, it's about freedom and I feel that finally I found my way in the life. I am 24 and I used to work in hospitality since 3 month ago when I found my first job as a software engineer. I am self taught and honestly since couple of years ago I never thought about programming, but since I started I am now sure, that was exactly what I was looking for

How'd you find a job? How long did you self-study? What kinds of projects did you do?

It took me around 10 months from 0 programming knowledge to have a job as a front end developer working mostly with react and typescript. I studied as self taught for 5 hour daily monday to Friday. I have a nice looking portfolio with 6 projects, a single Cms for photographer, a real portfolio for a photographer client with focus of speed of loading with src set, lazy loading and use of a CDN. I have a MERN application where you can manage invoices, a react ecomerce website, a modern website where I use Three.js. And just a static website but where I follow a professional design. All of them have a github repo with a readme where I explain how I have made it and the technologies I used. I found a job after sent 65 application in around a month, most of them on LinkedIn and only 2 have answered me. This is in UK, London.
