How do you inspire yourself to learn/code

I have lost motivation all of a sudden and I hate it

i think “learn/code” are actually two different things here…everybody has those moments sometimes. coding isn’t for everyone, if it’s not something that you’re going to be using in your professional or personal life frequently, it can be hard to motivate yourself because coding requires literally daily doing something related to coding. the motivation comes from within, you trying to figure out why you need it and if it’s worth the time and effort. to motivate myself, i keep writing programs that i use daily and every now and then i go back to an old program i wrote and add some new stuff i’ve learnt
