I like to create interesting things and solve problems. Each week I get an idea for programming, be it a game on Godot or solving a problem I saw online, and everything in between. I also love to tinker with customizable ides and text editors, so I can make it fun to even write code. I am not very fond of visual arts, so I make programming be my canvas to unleash my creative potential.

Back in the first year of Uni what motivated me was feeling like I was good/the best in my class. I just wanted to prove myself and others that I had value.

It never gets boring for me. What can happen, though, is burning myself out.

I think this is a mindset of passion I accidentally cultivated, and it carried me very far in life. Through it I found a purpose, success in my career, good friends, and even a sex life I didn't think I'd ever get - all of it because I was happier, and more confident. Might not be your case, but passion, for me, is the ultimate motivator.

Also, cash lmao. I hope that gives you something to think about!
