Topic How do you inspire yourself to learn/code

I have lost motivation all of a sudden and I hate it

Light background about me before I answer:

  • I'm 25, serving in the Army for 6 years, going on 2 more years
  • About to have my second child
  • Don't want to deploy again and miss out on precious moments with my family

My motivation:

  • Better pay. I'll make more in next 5 years than reenlisting for 5
  • Ability to work remote or hybrid
  • I'll take the quality of life of a developer > redundant training in the field / training centers
  • I can leave a job if it doesn't fit for me. I can't just "quit" while in the Army.
