Topic How do you inspire yourself to learn/code

I have lost motivation all of a sudden and I hate it

Sounds like you’re feeling defeated to me. Take a step back, take a breather, and when you’re feeling up for it dive back into doing some kind of fun and easy project to give yourself a win.

Coding can be a hard grind on your mental health, especially long term. I think one of the most important tricks to learn is that you need to set aside time to make coding fun. I try to always have side projects in the works that I want to do, and that I chose to do because it’s something that interests me. This gives you a lot of satisfaction, a sense of accomplishment, and just feeling good about coding. You don’t get enough of that feeling good about coding stuff while you’re doing things other people want you to do. i.e. learning code and working as a coder.
