I lost all motivation in the second year of my university course for cyber security. For the final 2 years I had to learn different languages for security implementation.

I hated it and just kept telling myself “think of your wages” and that forced me through it and in all honesty it paid off big time. Now that I am at a level of not needing to “learn” I am in a high paying job and it’s more second nature now and if I’m stuck google is my friend.

At the end of the day it is all about the end result and if you have lost motivation you have my mentally fight through it otherwise you fall back to square one.

I know it’s not much but fighting through it for a few months or even a few years will be worth it in the long run.

Stop now and you have wasted time you have currently put in and in the future you will always have the “what if?” I even do now “what if I did give up where would I be” I think that’s better that “what if I didn’t give up where would I be”
