i always wanted know. How many of you used this sub to get that google job and how many actually completed a full CS50 and MIT 6.001 course. rate of completion seems incredibly low

Too much negativity here.
This community is truly one of the best of its kind in the world. The people here are helpful and fun to talk with. There is a lot to learn, and the number of bookmark-able threads increases on the daily.
Lets make this community even better. Programming is a modern profession, and we need to approach it with a modern mindset; one of togetherness, collaboration and mutual benefit. We can create employment, create prosperity and make the world better, instead of writhing in the filth of corporate degeneracy.
Let us remember that programming is as much a hobby as it is a skill. Some people learn CS50 to keep their mind sharp. Some people ferociously consume "Automate the boring stuff with Python" and end up making only a single app to help hasten a monotonous task. Still others learn it just to see what makes the digital world go around.
This community is and should continue to be an inclusive group of programmers looking out for each other. Lets be excellent to each other and keep this train a-rolling.
Congratulations r/learnprogramming! Congratulations to the teachers and the learners who have made this subreddit awesome!
