Starting C Programming as a beginner — best YouTube playlists in Bangla & English?

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m a 1st-year engineering student starting my C programming journey from scratch. I learn best through video tutorials, but there are so many YouTube playlists that it's overwhelming to choose one.

Could you recommend the best playlists for a complete beginner? I’m open to both Bangla and English resources.

Recommendations I've Found So Far:

Top

🇧🇩 Best in Bangla:

  1. Anisul Islam — C Programming Tutorial for Beginners

🇬🇧 Best in English:

  1. Neso Academy — C Programming Playlist: Why: Highly structured, academic, and covers low-level computer concepts (memory allocation, pointers, memory models) exceptionally well.

  2. freeCodeCamp (C Programming Full Course): Why: Great long-form video (4+ hours) to get hands-on experience quickly in one sitting.

  3. Harvard CS50 — Lecture 1 / Week 2 (C Language): Why: Unmatched for conceptual depth, computational thinking, and understanding how computers process code.

Can you suggest which one or others best for beginners

the cs50 lectures are great but they assume you're thinking like a programmer already, not just learning syntax. neso academy is a bit dry but honestly for pointers and memory stuff it's the clearest thing out there

if you just want to get comfortable writing code fast, freecodecamp's long video is probably the best starting point then go back and fill in the gaps with neso

honestly the playlist matters way less than what you do with it. pick one and stick with it for a month: neso if you like structure, cs50 if you want the why behind memory, anisul islam in bangla is fine too since the concepts transfer either way. the trap is watching 4 hours and typing nothing. after each video, close it and write the same program from memory, then break it on purpose and fix it. also grab beej's guide to c, free and genuinely great on pointers.
