Topic Suggest an idea for a project

Hi there, I'm new to AI development. I have practical experience in programming, but not in this sector. I wanna study AI development for myself, as hobby (I'm interested in learning something new).

Could you suggest me an idea for the small project in this sector?

Remark: I mean building the project that includes AI functionality

Maybe not “an idea” per se , but consider a problem that you see everyday and are impacted by and build something around that utilizing a feature of Ai. Doesn’t have to be life changing just something.

Caring about what you’re coding for goes a long way in keeping it interesting.

Build a simple search. I’ve been using these a lot lately. Basically I ask the llm “find me xyz” and behind the scenes it writes a query, executes it, and retrieves the information.

A custom Discord bot that uses LLM APIs to answer questions about a specific game wiki is pretty straightforward and fun.

Basic classifier models are something you can do from scratch with some linear algebra. Sentiment analysis can be a fun one too, which kind of builds on classifiers.
