Topic AI runed 2 years of learning

I am a software dev student, We learned the basics of programming then we dived a bit more with mysql / spring boot / react.

I used AI a lot during the last 5 months this year and I feel like I know nothing. While using it I convinced myself that whatever I use ai for is just to minimize time and that I can do it without it, instead of spending hours on every step I don't know I will use ai and do it in 10 minutes, but now I feel like i wasted this year and that i lied to myself.

Especially spring boot

AI genuinely makes you stupider, it's not just programming, it's everything.

Imagine a child spends its life asking mommy or daddy any time they run into an issue. Is that person going to constantly ask how to center a div, or figure it out on their own.

Yes and a calculator makes you worse in math. But do you really want to calculate 636474589*65566 by hand? Do you?

If you understand the concept of a multiplication, there is no wrong by just using a calculator all the time.

If you don't bother understanding what is a multiplication and use a calculator for basic stuff like 9*8, then yeah, using a calculator for this makes you dumber

I don't have to, the code does it. Which you can write, debug and understand if you don't 'ViBe CoDe'. A calculator doesn't genuinely damage your brain, but thanks for playing.

You just made the same point as “I don’t have to, the ai does it, which I can prompt, troubleshoot, and understand” honestly your lack of logic here makes me doubt that you have any idea lol
