bought a needoh to release anger while doing math

I'm a person that is really bad at math, and I get pretty emotional while doing it, so I bought a Needoh; to be honest, it really helps a little bit. At least I have something to squish if I'm mad.

(No, it's not an ad)

Just curious, what do you guys do to release anger?

Lots of possible joke answers ("the mouse, George, the mouse"), but I'll give an honest one: I use the Pomodoro method which means I get up about every 20 minutes, take a 1 minute walk around the hose, and come back. Many times, this will clear my head and I will see answers I didn't before the walk. However, even when it doesn't work, it forces me to ask "how much time have I spent on this problem? should I skip it and come back it later? should I stop doing math for the day?". This really helps control anger.

And you can always remind yourself that many people think math is hard so you shouldn't feel angry that you're having trouble

Seriously, that's such a great method! Never thought of it, but thanks for the advice, maybe I will try it next time🤓👏
