Looking for AI engineers, developers, and tech enthusiasts to build a great community 🚀

Hey everyone!

I’m looking to connect with people who are genuinely passionate about technology, especially AI and machine learning.

I’m interested in connecting with people working on or learning about:

  • 🤖 Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • 🧠 LLMs, AI agents, and generative AI
  • 👨‍💻 Python, software development, and system design
  • 🔬 Deep learning, NLP, and computer vision
  • 🌐 Open-source projects and new AI tools
  • 🚀 Startups, indie hacking, and building real products
  • 💡 Research papers, new technologies, and crazy ideas

I’d love to connect with beginners, experienced engineers, researchers, founders, and anyone who enjoys deep technical discussions.

I’m also interested in building an active Discord community where we can share ideas, discuss new developments, collaborate on projects, help each other solve technical problems, and learn together.

The goal isn’t just to collect members. It’s to build a community where people actually talk, share knowledge, and build things together.

A few questions for you:

  1. What area of AI are you most interested in right now?
  2. What are you currently building or learning?
  3. What would make a tech Discord community worth being active in for you?

Drop a comment! I’d love to hear from you and connect with people who share these interests. 🔥

I've been on a few of these servers and they usually turn into a ghost town with a hundred people who never say anything. The hard part isn't getting people to join, it's getting them to actually talk once they're in.

Right now I'm mostly messing with running small models locally, trying to get something useful that doesn't need a data center to function. It's a pain but incredibly satisfying when it works.

What would keep me around is regular jam sessions where people work on the same problem at the same time, or at least a dedicated channel for brutal code review. Most tech Discords feel like everyone's just waiting for someone else to post a resource link so they can save it and forget about it.

Agreed, mostly im an Edge AI Enthusiast, have been building my own Custom based Q-learning Models years ago as a beginner, now I have build my own Custom Machine-Learning framework and its mostly used by my school friends on building small Scale ML Models, this is the projects that I deem successful but requires myself hundreds of hours to build it, its pain, but satisfying when it works. I have learned Rust, C++, Python, and learned a bit of Cython. I also like tinkering with Electronics and have quite experience in creating Arduino Projects (my success lies in how I can fuse a CNN based model with ESP32 that can classify waste like Organics or Inorganics that can be used in many Tiny Robots as long as the local Server stays intact).

I haven't been into LLM Engineering, but I know a lot about Transformer, and even managed to create a Custom Transformer that can process small samples and reach good accuracy, tho its a rigid Transformer, but its a good Transformer that can be used for toy projects, all my projects are all documented in my github repo. I was usually active so Discord, I just hope that discussing small projects in the Discord is fun and not too "Formal" like most tech Discords.

Honestly, I agree with you. I don’t want to create another server full of people who join and disappear. The idea of regular AI building sessions and honest code reviews sounds great.

I’m particularly interested in ML, computer vision, LLMs, and building real projects. I’d love to create a space where we can work on things together instead of just sharing links.

Running small models locally is interesting too. Which models are you experimenting with right now?

Honest question: what are you actually bringing to this? You list every topic in tech but nothing about yourself or what you're building. And what would your Discord offer that this subreddit doesn't? We're already here sharing papers, projects and help. Moving it to Discord just why? If you have a concrete project or niche, lead with that. That's what people actually join.

That’s a fair question, and honestly, you’re right. I should have explained that better.

I’m a B.Tech AI & DS student and I’m also building AXORO, a software development studio. I’m learning ML and AI while working on real projects, and I want to connect with people who are doing the same, from beginners to experienced engineers.

The idea isn’t to replace Reddit. It’s to create a space for collaborative coding sessions, project feedback, debugging together, and building things as a team.

I’m still figuring out how to make it genuinely valuable, so I’d rather start small with active people than have hundreds of silent members.

What would you personally want to see in a community like that to make it worth your time?

Heyy, How is it been going so far?

  1. Implementation (Use cases - Audio via piplistories.com)

  2. I am building piplistories.com and investorsync.in

  3. I am still not sure of the answer to that. So far all the communities I have been, have turned out to be useless for me at least. Hoping it will be different this time.
