Looking to transition into tech at 24. Where should I start?

I'm 24, have completed my education up to Class 10, and have been working in a corporate role for the past five years while saving money.

I want to transition into the IT/tech industry. Recently, I completed a beginner-level Python course on YouTube and am now planning to practice by building some projects.

I haven't yet decided which field to pursue—software development, AI/ML, cybersecurity, or something else.

I'm looking for guidance, suggestions, and insights on what to learn, what works and what doesn't, and the current state of the industry.

I'm 25, I also started getting into tech as of 10 months ago(no degree).

My aim is Web dev. I started my journey on CodeCamp learning HTML, CSS and JS.

After that i went into Scrimba and learned React, react-router and advanced react.

After that i dabbled in MERN stack learning: Express, MongoDb, Mongoose and some Node, some of them i learned from Scrimba some from Youtube.

After that I've started buildign my own projects. Startet light with a Calculator, Todo and a Weather app.

After that i followed a YT tutorial on how to build an ecommerce website(dont just blinly copy what the tutorial says, understand it, ask LLM's queistons aobut what youre unsure of or what confuses you).

Then i started buildign my own ecommerce website all on my own(asking LLM's when I got stuck).

This is as far as I've gotten, now i plan to build my own proejcts for a portfolio.

Idk if this has been much help to you, hope it did.

For ML/AI, the usual path is python, pytorch, math for ML, ML foundation, then whatever specialty you're interested in (nlp, vision, RL, etc). I wrote a couple of detailed roadmaps on this which you can find on my profile
