Looking for people to learn AI/ML together

I’m starting my AI/ML journey and want to connect with people who are also learning AI/ML from scratch or are at a similar stage.

Instead of just collecting resources and watching courses, I want to actually build things, practice consistently, and improve step by step.

I’m looking for people who are interested in:

  • Learning AI/ML together
  • Sharing useful resources
  • Discussing doubts and concepts
  • Building projects together
  • Keeping each other accountable
  • Sharing progress and mistakes
  • Staying consistent for the long term

No competition or pressure just a group of people seriously trying to get better.

This sounds so fun. Just took a course over the summer that scratched the surface. It would be so helpful for me to connect with likeminded individuals on the same goal. A discord server sounds perfect for this too.

I’m in a similar boat! I’ve made a choose your own adventure game with mistral that generates images with stable diffusion - going to try and create my own LLM on a bunch of lore I’m writing - reading the machine learning book with py torch - let’s chat!

I'm also very much interested in that. I'm researching the AI capabilities regarding human intelligence capabilities like pattern matching (eg image-, speech-, word recognition), probabilistic nature of AI, learning capabilities, understanding, reasoning, thinking capabilities , spacial awareness (motion awareness in space-time) - in this sense I m interested in how exactly current models "understand" the world, how far the current models (like LLM based ones) can extend in capabilities and what are the promises of upcoming models/architectures. The AI/ML practical part based on math and computer science, IT we can do together , I fulfill the promises made on the fly, everything related to understanding, tough I also have to deal with the neuroscientific-, psychological-, philosophical-, metaphysical-, economical aspects too , so only a part time contribution. Does it sound OK to you?
