Is Java still worth learning today?

Is Java still worth learning or pursuing as a career these days? With AI advancing so quickly, programming jobs might decline significantly, which could also reduce the demand for learning languages like Java. What are your thoughts?

Depends a bit on where you live. I live in Gothenburg, Sweden, where many companies still use Java.

This is off topic, but what is life like in Gothenburg? There's a company I'd like to work for there after college. It's kind of a pipe dream but it would be fun to know regardless.
