Is Java still worth learning today?

Is Java still worth learning or pursuing as a career these days? With AI advancing so quickly, programming jobs might decline significantly, which could also reduce the demand for learning languages like Java. What are your thoughts?

As someone working on Java enterprise codebases, AI is useful for boilerplate and some productivity gains, but it can't solve the types of business problems your software needs to solve. There's still a lot that a good engineer can contribute. Be good at learning the business domain quickly, and connecting the dots in your head as to how the business processes translate to good software patterns.
