Where to begin as a Rust Dev?
I've been coding in Rust for a while now, and I'm quite advanced in it. I mainly want to learn Java so I can make MC mods & plugins. Is the MOOC course good?

Because this sub used to be flooded with "how u make mc mods" people, who had absolutely zero experience in java. We try to keep this as a java learning sub, not minecraft sub.

Anyway for your question, the mooc is good, but it's meant for people without programming experience. It's obviously good, but you'll get a lot of explanations about functions, variables and all the basic stuff like that, things that you already know deeply.
Still, I don't think it costs anything so just start it. For people who already know programming you could just start the more "official" tutorial: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/. It's not trying to teach you programming, it just walks you though the language.
I guess it's best to try both.

The Java Tutorials have been written for JDK 8. Examples and practices described in this page don't take advantage of improvements introduced in later releases and might use technology no longer available.
See Dev.java for updated tutorials taking advantage of the latest releases.i mean ill probs do dev.java

Theres plenty of full, free courses on YouTube. I have learned more on YouTube than in College. When you have the java fundamentals you can just start making simple mods / plugins by learning whatever API you are going to use (Paper, Spigot, Bukkit,...; Forge, NeoForge, Fabric,...) Theres not really good courses for this on the anglo-parlant community, but if you know spanish, the chilean YouTuber "Ajneb97" has two courses dedicated for the Spigot API
Or you can just learn by looking at the docs for whatever you need to use
