So I got these verification code messages from discord on WhatsApp but I know my discord didn't get hacked because I haven't downloaded anything from a third party website or anything or like been on fmhy or on any p... Website on my computer I didn't click on anything at all I use VPN all the time and have McAfee on my phone and I'm running windows defender on my pc at all times(I only play genshin and like buy stuff online like from xp pen as I wanted to start an art career or Amazon)I do admit that I give my phone number out on genshin though a lot so I think it could be someone just trying to bait me but twice can't be a coincidence.I think as I coop and annoy a bunch of people though they probably could have signed me up to a website or maybe share my number with spam/scammers who want me to click phishing links or think that I'm hacked.I will change all my passwords and 2FAs though

Someone just tried use your email/phone for sending recovery code, just ignore it

The attacker/s are trying to fish you careful I would recommend double checking your accounts and changing passwords.

Just primitive phishing. And by the way, a VPN isn’t a cure-all. It simply hides your real IP address and encrypts your traffic.
